OVERVIEW
Ventura County Behavioral Health provides outpatient mental health services to adults ages 18 and older. Clinics are offered throughout the county. Services are provided in the community, in the home and within residential placements if needed. Each clinic provides services to treat severe symptoms of mental illness and help people to live successfully in the community.
We provide psychiatric assessment, medication services, psychological testing, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, rehabilitation services, and case management services. Our outpatient programs help people find employment, access medical care, get treatment for substance use problems, and find housing. We also offer supportive services to serve the special needs of our adult clients.
Older Adults (60+)
We provide an array of services for older adults, including mobile, in-home services, psychiatric treatment, skill building services, crisis intervention, and referrals for services in the community. The Older Adult Program has an intensive socialization program, providing an opportunity for isolated older adult clients to interact with their peers in regularly scheduled wellness and recovery groups. We provide psychiatric services, medication management and support services in clinics and at home.
